
What is ZUEA?: ZUEA, registered as a company limited by guarantee on 27th August 2015, is a non-partisan, non-sectarian, and non-religious organization. It serves as the National Alumni Association for Zambians who have participated in U.S. government-sponsored or U.S.-funded exchange programs. ZUEA’s mission is to engage the community in development and service.
Establishment: ZUEA was established to unite alumni from diverse U.S. exchange programs, empowering them to leverage their skills and knowledge for the socio-economic and democratic development of Zambia. With over 1,000 active members, ZUEA fosters collaboration and impactful contributions in areas such as education, health, and governance.
Mission Statement: ZUEA is a service organization aimed at providing Zambians who have participated in U.S. exchange programs the opportunity to contribute to Zambia’s development and the international community. This is achieved through the multi-disciplinary competence of its members and their involvement in academia, as well as public and private institutions across Zambia.
